On 18 December 2025, the first of 22 new 160 km/h regional trains ordered from Stadler has arrived in its new home. This is an investment of 158 million EUR, including 12 Class 2750 EDMUs and 10 Class 2700 EMUs (the latter acquired under the Climate Action and Sustainability Programme, PACS) .
This first unit, 2751, is dual-mode and has a capacity of 369 passengers (204 seated and 165 standing under normal load), including areas for people with reduced mobility and for bicycles. Technical testing and approval processes will now follow to ensure total safety and compliance with the national railway infrastructure. The delivery of the first EMU to CP is scheduled for the second half of 2026.
