Since early March, there have been three Talgo rakes in the Czech Republic, which Leo Express plans to use on its existing and new Czech-Slovak services. While the “Sun-fueled innovation” (unit 6B16) was transferred on 4 March 2026 from Kutná Hora to be stored on the PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL siding network near Ostrava, two additional trainsets originally from Renfe were hauled into the Czech Republic from Spain on 1 March, bound for Kutná Hora to PARI CZ Servis.
With this fleet, LE plans to begin operating services on the Praha - Ostrava - Žilina - Prešov route as early as 30 April 2026 (since its 3 kV DC FLIRT EMUs are now destined for Czech-Polish services) and new services on the Praha - Olomouc - Břeclav - Bratislava route.
