Other new EMUs arrived in Velim

In recent weeks, three different types of new EMUs have appeared at the VUZ Velim test circuit. On 2 May, these were units 4706 101 and 102 for ÖBB, i. e. KISS double-deckers designed for the railjet.

On 15 May, a double-deck EMU was also brought in, but of the Regio2N type for SNCF produced by Alstom (originally the OMNEO family from Bombardier Transportation).

And on 2 June, the VUZ Velim test centre welcomed another EMU from Alstom, this time Coradia Stream. A total of 21 of these Class ETR 160s will be used in the Italian South Tyrol and the Austrian Tyrol and were ordered by STA (Strutture Trasporto Alto Adige), which is the organizer of public transport in the Italian part of the aforementioned region.
