The TGV PSE 16 unit, which will be the subject of presentations and an exhibit at the RAIL BUSINESS DAYS in the coming days, arrived in the Czech Republic on the afternoon of 5 June 2022.

Conditions given by Drážní úřad for test operation of the very first TRAXX MS3 locomotives in revenue service, 388.001 and 002, were fulfilled recently.

On 2 July 2020, one of those two TRAXX MS3 locomotives from the ČD Cargo order, which recently started test operation, took its very first freight train. So far the machines only run light on the public network.
On 12 June 2020, both first ČD Cargo TRAXX MS3 locomotives, which are present in the Czech Republic, moved from the VUZ Velim test centre to the Ústí nad Labem depot. Following all necessary paperwork being sorted out, the first run in the test regime took place on 23 June.
On 4 May, it was again possible to see the locomotives 388.001 and 002 at the VUZ test centre Velim.
On 18 March 2020, the locomotive 163.022 was handed over to ČD Cargo, which was the first of the operator’s 3 kV DC Class 163 to be equipped with the on-board ETCS.
Within the process to award the approval of the test service on the public network, locomotives 388.001 and 002 for ČD Cargo underwent another round of EMC measurements at the VUZ Velim test centre n 21 April 2020.
Following the prototype 742.711, taken over by the operator on 30 July 2019, CZ LOKO started deliveries of a batch of 50 Type EffiShunter 1000-M modernised diesel locomotives.
On the night of 14/15 April 2020 two locomotives of the new Class 388 for ČD Cargo were transported from the operator's depot in Ústí nad Labem to Velim.
