On 16 December 2024, the RER NG EMUs entered into commercial service on the RER D Line of the Île-de-France Mobilités network.
On 9 December 2024, Alstom signed a contract with SNCF Voyageurs for the supply of 35 additional RER NG trains for the RER E line on the Île-de-France Mobilités network.
On 26 April 2023 Alstom announced it will supply SNCF Voyageurs with 60 additional new generation RER trains, for lines RER D and RER E of the Île-de-France network, for a total of almost 1 billion EUR.
