As a continuation of the information issued on 24 November 2021 regarding the CAF's acquisition of the Alstom’s Reichshoffen works, the Coradia Polyvalent and the Talent 3 platforms and after obtaining the regulatory authorisations needed for the purchase-sale agreement, on 1 August 2022 the closing of the operation has been formalised.
On 1 July 2022, Alstom announced that it has concluded the transfer of business activities related to Bombardier Transportation’s contribution to the V300 ZEFIRO very high-speed train to Hitachi Rail.
On 7 May 2022, Alstom has delivered India’s first semi high-speed regional train for National Capital Region Transport Corporation’s Delhi - Ghaziabad - Meerut RRTS line.
On 13 April 2022, Alstom has signed a contract with Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to provide operation and maintenance services for the automated people mover (APM) system for the next 10 years, until January 2032.
On 10 December 2021, ERA issued a type approval for TRAXX MS3 locomotives in the version equipped for operation in Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
