On 10 November 2022, TMH announced that DMZ started production of the first prototype of the new Class EP2DM EMU.
DMZ (Demikhovsky Engineering Plant) has expanded its overhaul capacity to 200 cars per year as part of its repair facility development programme.

On 5 March 2021, TMH signed the contracts with YuKZhD, a RZD subsidiary which carries out railway transportation in Armenia, for the supply of 27 passenger cars and two Class EP2D EMUs.
On 10 December 2020, DMZ of Orekhovo-Zuyevo (around 90 km east of Moskva) celebrated the 10,000th car built for EMU in its history.

On 4 June 2020 DMZ completed the delivery of a batch of five four-car Class EP3D EMUs to the Russian Railways scheduled for 2020.
