On 23 June 2021, Paribus Rail Investment Management GmbH has signed a framework agreement on behalf of its long-standing investment partner, RIVE Private Investment, to purchase up to 50 Type DM 20-EBB (Dual-Mode) emission-free shunting and mainline locomotives.

The first non-traction unit from the batch of ten Viaggio Comfort trains for ČD, which were named InterJet by the operator in May this year, has started the previously announced tests in Hungary.

On 10 June 2021, STM and RZD signed a contract to supply 200 two-section Class 2TE35A locomotives.

On 6 April 2021, STM signed a contract with Cemix and LB Minerals for delivery of two Class TEM9 locomotives.
